The recent frequency of natural disasters and epidemics is testing the international scientific community like never before. The COVID-19 crisis in particular has had a major influence on economies, cultures, education systems, and daily lives worldwide.
In this session, young researchers from various fields will share their attempts to tackle COVID-19 – including vaccines and drugs, cleanup and prevention methods, and more. Funding agencies will join the researchers to discuss how we can cooperate across disciplines and national borders to respond to the current crisis and prepare for future ones. Together we will explore how cooperative science, technology and innovation can make a more resilient society for all.
