Because of instability of social situations recently, contingencies we can’t handle with conventional way of thinking and methods of risk management occur often. In this circumstance, new concept, resilience, is aspired. In this concurrent session, University of Tsukuba, National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience, SECOM Co., LTD., and National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction (Taiwan), which participate in Resilience Research and Education Promotion Consortium, will work together to develop disaster resilience, human factors, cyber resilience for the realization of resilience society.

近年の社会情勢の不安定化により、従来のリスクマネジメントの考え方・方法論では対応できない不測の事態が数多く発生し、リスクマネジメントを超える新たな概念が希求されるようになってきている。そのような状況を背景として、「不測の事態や状況の変化に柔軟に対応し、求められる機能を維持提供し続け、回復する能力」であるレジリエンスが、リスクに代わる新たな概念として注目されている。
これらに対応するため、2017年12月26日、企業、研究機関、大学の協働により、レジリエンス研究教育推進コンソーシアムが発足した。本サブセッションでは、同コンソーシアム参画機関である筑波大学、防災科学技術研究所、セコム株式会社、國家災害防救科技中心（台湾）の協働により、レジリエンス社会の実現に向けた防災およびサイバーレジリエンスの取組・在り方について多角的に検討する。
