With the rapid expansion of AI systems in society, there is a growing concern that AI may amplify inequality and social division. In order to achieve "coexistence between humans and AI", we urgently need to consider how AI should understand human emotions and motivations, how humans and AI should interact with each other, and how AI should be adopted into social systems. In this session, we will discuss new perspectives on these urgent issues brought about by the "coexistence of humans and AI" in the new normal lifestyle, as the center of work and communication shifts from the real world to the virtual world due to the spread of COVID-19.

AIシステムの社会実装の急速な拡大に伴い，AIが不平等や社会的分裂を増幅する可能性があるという懸念が顕在化しつつある．「人間とAIの共存」へ向けて，AIはどのようにして人間の感情や動機を理解していくべきか，人間とAIはお互いにどう接していくか，AIを社会システムにどう採用していくべきか，といったことを我々は早急に検討する必要がある．本セッションでは，COVID-19の感染拡大により，仕事やコミュニケーションの中心が実世界からバーチャル世界に遷移する中で，ニューノーマルの生活様式における「人間とAIの共存」がもたらすこれら喫緊の課題について，新たな視点を議論する．
