The survival rates of acute illness and injuries have been improved significantly in the past decades. However, the demand of emergency care has been increasing rapidly all over the world, and to achieve the better survival, innovation is the key. COVID-19 pandemic had showed the importance of universal access to quality emergency care for all citizens.

In this session, young Asian leaders will present about the strategies, solving the challenges in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Laos. Through the discussion, we would like to propose the vision of designing a new emergency care system in the "New Normal."
