The life sciences field covers a wide range of research areas, including medicine, agriculture and environmental protection, and its results are expected to make a significant contribution to the realization of a sustainable society. However, there are many challenges to realization, such as the high cost of technological development and discussions on ethical aspects. The “young” and “senior” members involved in the Tsukuba Life Science Innovation Program will come together to discuss what role this programme should play from their respective perspectives.
ライフサイエンス分野は、医療や農業、環境保護など多岐に渡る研究領域であり、その成果は持続可能な社会の実現に大きな貢献が期待される。しかしながら、技術開発の高いコストや倫理的な側面からの議論など、実現には多くの課題が存在する。本プログラムがどのような役割を果たすべきか、ライフイノベーション学位プログラムに関わる若手・シニアが一体となって、各々の立場からの議論を行う。
