"Humanics" is an academic discipline that creates new science and technology that enables people to live healthy and comfortable lives by combining/integrating multiple fields such as life science, medicine, physical science, engineering, and informatics. Ph.D. program in Humanics aims to develop leaders with high expertise in these multiple fields and the ability to give back their expertise/skills to society.
We will hold some lectures by Humanics researchers and a poster session with our students in this session. We would like to discuss the future concerning humanics studies and what we can do to ensure a healthy life for all people of all ages.
“ヒューマニクス”とは、生命医科学と理・工・情報学の融合を通じ、社会の中で「人」として健康で快適な生活が実現できる新たな科学・技術を生み出す学問領域です。筑波大学ヒューマニクス学位プログラムでは、これら複数分野の高い専門性と社会に還元できる応用力を備えたリーダー人材の育成を目的としています。
本セッションでは、ヒューマニクスに携わる研究者の講演や本学位プログラム学生によるポスター発表を通じ、ヒューマニクスが切り拓く社会のありようや本学位プログラムの未来について議論・検討します。
