The Global Zero Emission Research Center (GZR) of National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) was established in January 2020 in line with the Japanese government’s “Environment Innovation Strategy,” which aims to reduce domestic as well as global greenhouse gas emissions. Connecting G20 researchers, GZR provides an important platform that attracts domestic and international insights about cutting-edge research and development. In this session, young researchers from GZR and overseas organizations will introduce their latest research results and standardization activities related to next-generation energy materials and devices, and discuss the importance of international collaboration in innovation.

2020年1月に設立された産総研ゼロエミッション国際共同研究センター（Global Zero Emission Research Center, GZR）は、日本と世界の温室効果ガス削減を目指す政府の「革新的環境イノベーション戦略」の中で、最先端の研究開発を担う国内外の叡智を結集し、G20の研究者をつなぐプラットフォーム拠点として位置づけられています。本セッションでは、GZRや海外機関の若手研究者等から最新の次世代エネルギー材料・デバイスに関する研究成果及び標準化活動を紹介するとともに、イノベーションにおける国際連携の重要性等についての議論を行います。
